After filling out the application form, the next step is to upload the data of your pediatric patients with diabetes via DPV Software or Excel spread sheet. Please read “SWEET database” and “how to transfer data” to get more information about how to submit the data. After successful submission of the data you will get a benchmarking report. The report contains of 130 pages divided into a general part concerning the whole group followed by a section focused on the individual center. The report is delivered as a pdf and additionally as a PowerPoint presentation which allows the members to copy charts and tables of interest directly in documents assigned to present their data for multiple purposes.
Participation in research projects and publication is possible for your center, as soon as you have submitted data to the SWEET database.
If your center has more than 150 pediatric patients with diabetes and you have uploaded your data you will undergo the Peer Review Process to get certified as a Center of Reference or Collaborative Center. In case your center takes care of less than 150 patients you may become an Associated Center.
